Ryan Hurst is an American actor recognized for his work in television, film, and video games. Raised in a Hollywood family, Hurst began his career with a recurring role in the NBC series "Saved by the Bell: The New Class." He built his résumé through roles in major films, including "Saving Private Ryan" and his breakout performance as Gerry Bertier in the sports drama "Remember the Titans." Hurst also contributed to the Los Angeles theater scene by founding The Viking Underground Repertory and appeared in several independent films.
