Michael Cudlitz

Michael Cudlitz is an American actor and director whose career spans more than three decades in television, film, and theater. A graduate of California Institute of the Arts, Cudlitz established a foundation in the performing arts before transitioning to work in Hollywood. His stage credits include "Ring of Steel" at Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, as well as "Tartuffe," "Much Ado About Nothing," "Coriolanus," "The Cherry Orchard," and "The Lion in Winter."

Cudlitz gained recognition with a lead role in the HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers," portraying Sgt. Denver Randleman. He also starred as Officer John Cooper in the drama "Southland," earning the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. In addition to his television work, Cudlitz contributed voice performances to video games including "Call of Duty 2: Big Red One," "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare," and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."

Cudlitz appeared in AMC's "The Walking Dead" as Sergeant Abraham Ford, a character from the comic series. He directed episodes for Seasons 9 through 11 of "The Walking Dead," as well as for "The Walking Dead: World Beyond" and "The Walking Dead: Dead City." His directing credits highlight his work behind the camera in the television industry.

Cudlitz was cast on The CW's "Superman & Lois" as Lex Luthor, a version of the DC Comics supervillain. He also directed an episode of "Superman & Lois." Additional television credits include CBS's "Clarice" and ABC's "The Kids Are Alright." His feature film work includes "Grosse Pointe Blank," "A River Runs Through It," and "The Negotiator."
