Marc Maron

Marc Maron is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and a significant figure in the history of podcasting. For more than three decades, Maron has written and performed comedy across print, stage, radio, online, and television platforms. His comedy blends self-deprecation, acerbic wit, philosophy, and socio-political commentary.

Between 1994 and 2008, Maron became one of Late Night with Conan O'Brien's most frequent guests, appearing more than 30 times. He also made his mark on radio as a regular on Air America, hosting "The Marc Maron Show" and co-hosting "Morning Sedition" and "Breakroom Live."

Maron's stand-up specials include "More Later," "Thinky Pain," "Too Real," and "End Times Fun," which was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy Special. Maron has also appeared in the Apple TV+ series "Stick" and played landlord Gideon Perlman in the Amazon series "The Horror of Dolores Roach." He is the author of the books "The Jerusalem Syndrome: My Life as a Reluctant Messiah" and "Attempting Normal." In 2026, he starred in "In Memoriam."
