Finn Wolfhard

Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian actor, musician, and filmmaker recognized for his role as Mike Wheeler on the Netflix series "Stranger Things." Wolfhard began portraying Wheeler at age 12 and continued through the series finale. The ensemble cast of "Stranger Things" received a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. The show also earned multiple honors, including MTV Movie & TV Awards for Show of the Year, an AFI Award for TV Program of the Year, a Golden Globe nomination for Best Drama Television Series, and numerous Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Wolfhard's work on the series led to prominent film roles, including Richie Tozier in "It" and "It Chapter Two," and Trevor Spengler in "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" and "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire." He has contributed voice work to animated projects such as Guillermo del Toro's stop-motion "Pinocchio," and appeared in films including "The Goldfinch" and "Saturday Night."

In addition to acting, Wolfhard is active in the music industry. He served as lead vocalist and guitarist for the indie rock band Calpurnia, which released the EP "Scout." He later co-founded The Aubreys with drummer Malcolm Craig, releasing the EP "Soda & Pie" and the album "Karaoke Alone." Wolfhard launched a solo career with the album "Happy Birthday," an indie rock and garage punk record he co-produced. His discography also includes "Fire From The Hip."

Wolfhard has expanded into filmmaking, co-writing and co-directing the comedy horror film "Hell of a Summer," which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. He also starred in the stunt comedy "Crash Land" alongside Gabriel LaBelle. Wolfhard made his hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live," becoming the first member of the "Stranger Things" cast to do so.
