Aldis Hodge

Aldis Hodge is a SAG Award-winning actor recognized for his work in film, television, and theater. Hodge began his career as a child, appearing in print advertisements and commercials before performing in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of "Showboat" and making his film debut with his brother Edwin in "Die Hard with a Vengeance." He continued to build his acting portfolio across various genres in both television and film, gaining wider recognition for his portrayal of hacker Alec Hardison in the TNT series "Leverage." This role earned Hodge a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor on Television.

Hodge's career includes roles in "Straight Outta Compton" as MC Ren, the historical drama "Hidden Figures" as part of the ensemble cast, and as football player Jim Brown in Regina King's "One Night in Miami..." He co-starred as Noah in the WGN America series "Underground" and played district attorney Decourcy Ward in the Showtime drama "City on a Hill." Hodge entered the superhero genre as Hawkman in the DC Studios film "Black Adam" and voiced John Stewart/Green Lantern in the animated film "Green Lantern: Beware My Power."

Hodge stars as detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross in Prime Video's thriller series "Cross," based on James Patterson's novels. The series achieved significant global viewership and received recognition at the NAACP Image Awards and NAMIC Vision Awards. Hodge also appeared in the thriller "The Dutchman," based on Amiri Baraka's play, and in "Road House 2."

In addition to his acting career, Hodge is a trained martial artist, painter, screenwriter, and graduate of ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. He is a self-taught horologist and founder of the luxury watch brand A. Hodge Atelier. Hodge serves as a trustee for the Horological Society of New York and advocates for diversity in the watchmaking industry. He uses his platform in design, art, and production to promote access and opportunity for artists of color.
