Jon Bergmann, a Flipped Classroom pioneer and best-selling author of eleven books, sees AI as a game-changer for education—but with a warning. He cautions that without action—prioritizing human connection, critical thinking, and ethical grounding—AI risks turning students into passive, "stupefied" learners.

Bergmann’s journey spans urban, suburban, rural, and private schools, with 24 years as a classroom teacher in Colorado before he became a tech facilitator in Chicago’s suburbs. When Flip Your Classroom became a global bestseller, he spent eight years traveling, helping schools and universities swap passive lectures for active learning. In 2019, he returned to the classroom to refine Flipped and Mastery Learning, amplifying his voice among educators.
