Frankie Muniz

Frankie Muniz is an American actor and racecar driver. He played the title character in the Fox sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle," for which he earned an Emmy Award nomination and two Golden Globe Award nominations. His film roles include "Deuces Wild," "Big Fat Liar," "Agent Cody Banks," and "Racing Stripes." At the height of his fame, he was considered one of the most popular child actors and "one of Hollywood's most bankable teens."

In 2006, he put his acting career on hold to pursue professional race car driving. He competed in the Formula BMW USA Championship before moving up to race in the Champ Car Atlantic Championship from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, Muniz was fourth in the championship standings with two races to go before a season-ending injury resulted in multiple surgeries.

Following Muniz's race car driver ambitions, he then became the drummer in the band Kingsfoil, and toured all around the world opening for musical phenomenons including Ed Sheeran and Panic! At The Disco.

The multi-hyphenate talent is also well known for his voiceover work. Muniz has voiced roles in Nickelodeon's "The Fairly Oddparents," "Dr. Dolittle 2," Warner Brothers’ "Racing Stripes," DC’s "Harley Quinn," and "The Simpsons" since the beginning of his career.

More recently, Muniz starred as the lead in the family Western film, "Hot Bath an’ a Stiff Drink 2," and also the sequel for the '90s comedy classic "Half Baked, Half Baked: Totally High." He is set to star in "Reapers Night" and return to his origins as Malcolm in "Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair."

In 2025, Muniz made his highly anticipated debut in the NASCAR Truck Series after a successful stint in the ARCA Menards National Championship, where he competed in the #30 Rette Jones Racing Ford Mustang. With a newfound focus and determination, he is ready to embrace the challenges of stock car racing and make a significant impact in the NASCAR world.
