Eric Bana

Eric Bana is an Australian actor and producer known for his work across stand-up comedy, Hollywood films, and independent cinema. Bana began his career as a stand-up comedian while working as a barman before making his television debut on the sketch-comedy series "Full Frontal." He later hosted "The Eric Bana Show Live," earning the Logie Award for Most Popular Comedian for his work on the program.

Bana transitioned from comedy to dramatic acting with his breakout role as Mark Chopper Read in "Chopper," a performance that received critical acclaim and won him the AFI Best Actor award. He also received Best Actor at the Stockholm Film Festival for this role. His preparation for the part included significant physical transformation and time spent with Read in prison.
