Dharmesh Shah

Dharmesh Shah is the co-founder and chief technology officer of HubSpot, a publicly traded customer platform that has influenced how businesses approach marketing, sales, and customer service. Shah met co-founder Brian Halligan while they were graduate students at MIT, and together they developed an online marketing platform in response to the declining effectiveness of traditional marketing tactics. Before founding HubSpot, Shah served as founder and CEO of Pyramid Digital Solutions, which was acquired by SunGard Data Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from UAB and a Master of Science in the management of technology from MIT.

Under Shah's technical leadership, HubSpot has expanded into a global company. The company reported revenue of $2.63 billion, with annual recurring revenue approaching $2.9 billion. Shah is an active entrepreneur and mentor, having invested in more than 80 startups, primarily in the enterprise software sector, including Okta, Buffer, and Help Scout. Shah has become a prominent voice in the technology industry on artificial intelligence. At INBOUND, he introduced Breeze, HubSpot's AI solution designed to enhance business operations, including Breeze Agents and Breeze Copilots. He also announced Agent.ai, a professional network for AI agents that enables users to build agents for complex tasks in marketing, sales, and service. The platform has grown to over 2 million users. Shah is recognized for translating technological trends, such as AI adoption, into practical frameworks for business audiences navigating the evolving AI landscape.
