Dan Abrams

Dan Abrams is a prominent legal journalist and serves as chief legal affairs correspondent for ABC News, providing analysis on significant court cases and legal issues in the United States. Abrams began his career as a reporter for Court TV, gaining recognition for his coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial. He has reported on numerous high-profile trials, including proceedings at the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Netherlands. After his tenure at Court TV, Abrams became chief legal correspondent for NBC and hosted MSNBC's "The Abrams Report" and "Verdict with Dan Abrams." He also served as general manager of MSNBC, overseeing notable increases in ratings and profits during his leadership.

Abrams later joined ABC as chief legal analyst and co-anchor of "Nightline." His publications include the Washington Post bestseller "Man Down: Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt That Women Are Better Cops, Drivers, Gamblers, Spies, World Leaders, Beer Tasters, Hedge Fund Managers and Just About Everything Else," as well as "Lincoln's Last Trial: The Murder Case That Propelled Him to the Presidency," which became a New York Times bestseller and received the Barondess/Lincoln Award.
