Andrew Feldman

Andrew Feldman is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and technology executive known as the co-founder and CEO of Cerebras Systems, a semiconductor and artificial intelligence infrastructure company. Feldman co-founded Cerebras Systems and has led the development of the Wafer-Scale Engine, recognized as the largest processor in the computing industry. He and his co-founders aimed to create a new class of computer to accelerate artificial intelligence and deep learning workloads, building a comprehensive AI accelerator solution spanning chip, system, and software. Feldman holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.

Prior to Cerebras Systems, Feldman co-founded and served as CEO of SeaMicro, a company focused on energy-efficient, high-bandwidth microservers, which was acquired by AMD for $357 million. Following the acquisition, Feldman served as a corporate vice president and general manager at AMD. He previously held the role of vice president of marketing and product management at Force10 Networks, which was later acquired by Dell Computing for $800 million, and vice president of marketing and corporate development at Riverstone Networks from its inception through its initial public offering.

At Cerebras Systems, Feldman has overseen significant engineering achievements in AI hardware and semiconductor design. The company invested $400 million over three years to develop a semiconductor specifically for AI workloads, resulting in the Wafer-Scale Engine, a chip approximately 57 times the size of a GPU. The WSE-3 delivers up to 20 times faster performance than alternatives while improving energy efficiency, addressing key challenges in AI compute. The third-generation chips enable faster model training, supporting clients such as Mayo Clinic and G42. Researchers at Argonne National Laboratory received the Gordon Bell Special Prize for research into COVID-19 variants powered by the Cerebras CS-2 cluster, and the WSE-2 was recognized by the Museum of Computing as an epochal achievement in chip-making.

Cerebras Systems has attracted significant investment and achieved major milestones under Feldman's leadership. The company raised $1.1 billion at an $8.1 billion valuation, followed by an additional $1 billion investment, increasing its valuation to $23 billion. Cerebras Systems reported revenue of $510 million, reflecting substantial growth. The company's Nasdaq debut resulted in a market value of approximately $69 billion, and Cerebras Systems was named to the TIME 100 Most Influential Companies list.

Feldman is recognized as a prominent voice in the AI hardware sector, frequently speaking at industry events and media forums. At SUPERNOVA, Feldman addressed the rapid acceleration of AI and the need for advanced infrastructure.
