Michael Yo

Michael Yo is a two-time Emmy-nominated comedian, actor, and host known for his work in stand-up comedy, television, film, and radio. With Black and Korean heritage, Yo draws from his multicultural background, incorporating it into storytelling that connects with diverse audiences. He has released three stand-up specials: "Blasian," "I Never Thought," and "Snack Daddy." Yo appeared on Season 15 of "America's Got Talent," advancing to the Quarter-Finals with his stand-up performance. He tours nationally, headlining clubs and theaters, and holds a weekly residency at Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club at THE LINQ in Las Vegas. He also performs as a featured comedian in "Mad Apple" by Cirque du Soleil.

Yo's film credits include "Losing Control," "The Cookout 2," and Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring." On television, he recurs as Philip on the Apple TV+ series "Amber Brown" and has appeared in multiple scripted projects. Before his entertainment career, Yo played football for the University of Arkansas, but multiple concussions ended his athletic pursuits and led him to comedy and acting.

As a host, Yo has worked across radio, television, and digital platforms. He served as a correspondent for E! News, The Daily 10, and Extra, and co-hosted The Insider on CBS. He appeared regularly on the comedy panel of "Chelsea Lately," as a guest host for "The Talk" on CBS, and as a pop culture commentator on "Showbiz Tonight." Yo hosts the nationally syndicated game show "Scrambled Up" and leads A&E's travel-food series "1,000 Ways to Dine." He and Nikki Novak co-host Nexstar Media Group's annual New Year's Eve special from Las Vegas.

Yo has also appeared on "The Joe Rogan Experience" and hosts his own podcast, "Yo Show," featuring interviews with entertainers and influencers. His work spans stand-up comedy, television hosting, film acting, and podcasting, making him a recognized figure in the entertainment industry.
