Dr. Jennifer Ashton is ABC News' Chief Medical Contributor and former co-host of The Revolution. She is a board-certified OBGYN and one of the leading women's health experts in the country. Previously, Dr. Ashton worked as the medical correspondent for CBS News and Fox News. Dr. Ashton has regularly contributed to a number of shows including The Dr. Oz Show, The Early Show, and The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
Dr. Ashton has covered many major health and medical stories. She reported from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, after the devastating 2010 earthquake, where she was the network's primary medical correspondent on location, and contributed numerous reports on the 2009 global outbreak of H1N1.
