 Kevin Dillon Biography

Kevin Dillon (born August 19, 1965) is a Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated American actor. Born in Mamaroneck, New York, he is the younger brother of actor Matt Dillon.

Dillon began acting in both television and films in the 1980s and first received wide attention for his role as Bunny in the 1986 film Platoon. In 1988, he portrayed Brian Flagg in a remake of the 1958 American science fiction film The Blob. The remake flopped, earning only $8.2 million against a budget of $9 million. Other notable film roles from that period included War Party (1988) and The Doors (1991).

Much of Dillon's recent work has been in television, including the CBS series That's Life and 24 from FOX as Lonnie McRae. Dillon was on the HBO hit comedy series Entourage playing Johnny "Drama" Chase, for which he received a 2007 Emmy nomination. He quipped that the character is based on a few friends including his brother Paul. The series ended in 2011 but Dillon will reprise his role as Johnny Chase in the series' film adaptation Entourage in 2015.

On April 22, 2006, Dillon married model-actress Jane Stuart in Las Vegas. Entourage cast member Jerry Ferrara was the best man at the wedding and Kevin Connolly walked Stuart down the aisle after Dillon shouted 'Victory!', a tribute to his character's work on the fictional TV series Viking Quest. He appeared in the 2006 film Poseidon, a remake of the The Poseidon Adventure.

In May 2006, their daughter, Ava, was born by caesarean section in Los Angeles. He also said in a 2006 interview with Who magazine that he has a 15-year-old daughter.

On August 18, 2007, Dillon threw out the first pitch before the Chicago Cubs' home victory against the St. Louis Cardinals.
