Javier Aguera Biography
Having just turned 20 years old, Javier Agüera is, since he was 16, one of the co-founders of Geeksphone. His company is the first and only Spanish smartphone brand, and was a pioneers in Europe introducing the Android OS.
Previously he founded two small start-ups and now -new projects apart- he is studying a Telecom Engineering degree at Comillas-ICAI University. In addition, he is the president of START_, the entrepreneurs association of his university, and Young Advisor to the VicePresident and DA Comissioneer of the European Comission (Neelie Kroes).
He is an active member in iCue and Sandbox networks; and recently has been awarded with the TR35 Spain by the MIT and also the IMPULSA Empresa from the Prince of Asturias and Girona Foundation.
