Diane Brady is a journalist, entrepreneur, and founder of dB Omnimedia, a media company where she creates partnerships and connections with newsmakers in order to reach and expand newer audiences. She is the former Senior Editor and Content Chief at Bloomberg .
At Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Brady handled corporate coverage, profiles, and management issues. Prior to assuming the role as Senior Editor and Content Chief, she was a senior writer and bureau chief.
Before joining Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Brady was a staff reporter at The Asian Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong and Manila, as well as an associate editor at Maclean's magazine in Toronto. She was also a speechwriter for the UN Environment Programme in Nairobi, Kenya.
Brady has received numerous awards for her work, including the National Headliner Award, the Deadline Club Award, the Front Page Award, and two National Magazine Awards in Canada. She has been nominated twice for Business Journalist of the Year. Along with regular appearances on CNN, NPR , and other media outlets, she often speaks at industry events and is on the board of the Overseas Press Club.
She holds graduate degrees from Columbia Journalism School and the University of Nairobi, as well as a BA from the University of Toronto.
