Jordan Gavaris Biography
Born and raised in Southern Ontario and currently juggling his time between Toronto and Los Angeles, Gavaris breakout role came in the feature film, "45 R.P.M," written and directed by David Schultz. Two years, an animated series, guest work on the cult series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," and a title role on Cartoon Network’s first live-action/adventure series "Unnatural History," Gavaris earned an award from Playback Magazine and The Canadian Film and Television Hall of Fame as one of 2010’s top ten to watch.
Gavaris gained legions of fans when he was cast as the step-brother to the main character on BBC America's "Orphan Black" with his ability to deliver a comedic touch to any otherwise intense show.
A vocal advocate for animal rights and sustainable farming, Gavaris speaks publicly about the need for North American governments to abolish mass-GMO farming, and help to keep our struggling family farms in business.
