Xzibit Biography
Xzibit's big breakthrough in the rap world came when he joined up with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for the hit, "Bitch Please." He then appeared on Dr. Dre's multi-platinum album, "Chronic 2001".
Dr. Dre invited the young rapper to join his "Up in Smoke" tour during the summer of 2000. The tour across America featured Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Ice Cube as well as many other West Coast rappers.
Xzibit's biggest-budget album released to date, "Restless", was executively produced by Dr. Dre. The single "X" became the rapper's biggest hit and the album went platinum.
He continues to collaborate with his closest West Coast colleagues. His loyalty to the West Coast and former rappers continue to win him further respect from his dedicated fans.
Xzibit joined the group "Strong Arm Steady" with Jelly Roll and Krondon. Their first album is expected to be released in the fall of 2006.
Xzibit is currently the host of the popular MTV hit car makeover show "Pimp My Ride".
