Ramona Singer is an astute businesswoman and a true aficionado of fashion with a passion for being a wife and mother all in addition to her role on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City."
Ramona was born the eldest of four children in upstate New York. She learned responsibility at a very young age and wanted to have a career in business combined with fashion. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, with a B.S. Degree in Business. Ramona started her professional career thirty years ago as a buyer for Macy's, and then created her first company RMS Fashions, Inc at the young age of 29.
Her newest venture is Ramona Pinot Grigio made in the Veneto region of Italy. Ramona can now do "Turtle Time" all the time! Ramona has already taken the beauty and accessory industries by storm with her Tru Renewal skincare line, her True Faith jewelry collection, and her Ramona Singer Jewelry on HSN. She also has her own Amazon store, Ramona Singer Collections.
Ramona is passionate about her charities. As a first-hand witness to her mother's abuse as a child, Ramona is now involved with raising money for shelters and safe houses for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. Ramona has always been a strong believer that children are the future and became involved with the Africa Foundation/And Beyond, which helps build schools for children in Africa where there are none. Ramona visited Africa to see the final product of a school kitchen she helped built, citing the trip as one of her most memorable and life changing moments.
All of these experiences in the work force has shaped Ramona to become the woman she is today. She is truly an inspiration – a self made, entrepreneurial, ambitious, and truly motivated person in all aspects of success. She has been given opportunities and challenges that have given her so many life lessons, and believes that everyday is a learning experience. Ramona is a firm believer that courage and self esteem creates confidence and strength in everyone and hopes to inspire all those that she comes in contact with.
