Alexei Orlov Biography

Mr. Alexei Orlov has been the Chief Executive Officer at Rapp Worldwide Inc. since July 2014. He serves as Regional President of Europe & Middle East of DraftFCB, Inc. He serves as the Head of Strategic Planning and Implementation of WPP Global Automotive Advisory and also serves at Ogilvy and Mather, JWT, Mindshare and Y&R Advertising, Members of WPP Plc. He has significant Brand and Business Building expertise.

As a Member of the Global Executive of WPP, he worked on identifying and assisting with key Strategic Acquisitions as well as supporting any New Business Initiatives with potential for significant Regional or International Roll-Out. He served as a Managing Partner of UK Operations of Wunderman Inc., since joining it in September 2000. He was also the President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Automotive Business of Wunderman Inc., since 2004.

In April 2006, he relocated to Wunderman's Global Head Quarters on Madison Avenue, New York. Over year, he pioneered and continues to develop together with his Group Staff an innovative, additional approach to CRM, called "Whole Life Programmes". Prior to joining Wunderman, he owned and ran ROCQM. He started his business career as a Retail Merchandiser for Edgars Group, and subsequently moved to the UK where he served as Retail Development Director of Paperchase Group. In 1989, he joined Avon Cosmetics, where he spearheaded the launch of Private Label Products across Europe. He served as Marketing Director of Avon Retail (Europe), and the youngest Director of Avon.

In 1992, he joined Volvo as Director of Marketing and Group Business Strategy and in 1995, he was promoted to Chairman of Worldwide Brand Communications and he played a key role in launching the revolutionary 850 series. In 1997, he set up his own agency specializing in Brand Communications, working for many prestigious clients such as Aquascutum, House of Fraser, Austin Reed, Redrow plc, Mazda, Kodak, to name but a few. He served as an Executive Vice Chairman and Director of Wunderman, Inc.
