Ezra Miller is an actor, known for their roles in the films "City Island," "Another Happy Day," "We Need to Talk About Kevin," and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."

When Miller was six, they started training as an opera singer to help overcome a speech impediment. Miller has sung with the Metropolitan Opera and performed in the U.S. premiere of the contemporary opera "White Raven." They attended The Hudson School until they were 16, after the release of the film "Afterschool," which started Miller's film career.

Miller played Credence Barebone in the 2016 film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," a spin-off of the Harry Potter film series. Miller reprised the role in the film's sequel, "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald," which was released in November 2018.

Miller played Patrick in the teen-drama "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," opposite Logan Lerman and Emma Watson. They also played Donald in the comedy film, "Trainwreck,"alongside Amy Schumer and Bill Hader.

After Antonio Campos' "Afterschool," Miller appeared in "City Island" with Andy Garcia, Julianna Margulies, and Steven Strait, and they co-starred in "Beware the Gonzo" and "Every Day," both of which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

They then appeared in the BBC Films movie "We Need to Talk About Kevin" with John C. Reilly and Tilda Swinton. The film was directed and adapted by Lynne Ramsay from American author Lionel Shriver's 2003 novel of the same name. "Kevin" became a Cannes Film Festival sensation, garnering critical acclaim.

Miller appeared as Damien on the Showtime's hit comedy "Californication" and as Tucker Bryant on two seasons of "Royal Pains." They also played the role of Lon Dupuis in Sophie Barthes' adaptation of "Madame Bovary."
