Mark is Senior Vice President of SAP Communities, a multinational software development and consulting corporation. Mark is responsible for the SAP Developer Network (SDN), Business Process Expert (BPX), Business Objects (BOC), and University Alliance (UAC) communities, plus the SAP EcoHub online community-powered solutions marketplace.
All these combined together as the SAP Community Network (SCN) serving two million members in 200+countries and territories globally. Yolton is also in charge of managing the activities for the events that support, engage, and extend those communities: SAP Tech Tour, and SAP TechEd. Plus, SAP's technology and business standards and open source strategy and activities.
He has served in management positions at Oracle, PeopleSoft, Sun Microsystems, Unisys, and Prudential in areas including: marketing, eBusiness, website/portal/ community management, from headquarters, to field, and division-level positions.
Born in Texas, grew up near Philadelphia, now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area of California with his wife, three kids, two grandsons, and a Harley-Davidson Road King Classic.
