Zack Pearlman Biography
Zachary Michael "Zack" Pearlman is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Zack in The Virginity Hit and as Jay in the short-lived American remake of The Inbetweeners for MTV. He co-starred in the FOX sitcom Mulaney, which premiered October 5, 2014 but was ultimately cancelled February 15th 2015.
Pearlman's acting career began after he submitted an entry for a contest with the website Funny or Die and was given the opportunity to audition for a role in the film The Virginity Hit. Pearlman landed a lead role in the film, which was released in September, 2010. The Virginity Hit is described as a "documentary style comedy" that follows a group of friends and their exploits as they attempt to lose their virginity. To increase the realism of the film the directors gave Pearlman and his cast mates cameras to film many of the scenes themselves. "I actually did maybe 35% of the filming for the movie. I think giving the camera to me, as an actor and not a filmmaker, also helped lend to the realistic feel of the movie.
Pearlman began his television career as Leslie Kaczander in the season 1 finale of Breaking In. In 2012, Pearlman can be seen as Jay in the American remake of the British series The Inbetweeners on MTV.
