Troy Roness Biography
Troy Roness is a survivor of anorexia, compulsive exercise and body dysmorphia. He is an eating disorder advocate, speaker, and author of the 2018 book "Unbroken: Journaled Reflections of Recovery."
Troy's recovery began in 2009 after a guest appearance on Dr. Phil. Troy identifies as Christian and gives some of the credit for his recovery to his faith. Troy is a professor in the College of Education and Health Sciences at Minot State University in North Dakota, where he has been a faculty member since 2013.
