Sabian Muhammad

Sabian Muhammad is an award-winning, 22 year old home taught youth advocate, social entrepreneur, trained public speaker, social media consultant and communications specialist. He specialises in helping generations connect together, specifically helping adults from all walks of life to understand why young people do the things they do.

Sabians mission is simple: Find and Provide solutions to the problems we face in society by starting with family, education and young people.

He is also the creator of the national O2 campaign Why Do? which was an online service encouraging adults to ask young people questions about why they do what they do in society, with the long-term aim of bridging the generation gap. A largely successful campaign which engaged over 250,000 adults within 8 weeks with 89% of those engaged agreeing that WhyDo helped them understand young people better.

Among the various organisations he has worked with are, National Council For Voluntary Youth Services, MediaTrust, Edexcel, Unicef, Ofqual, AQA, Child Workforce Development Council and many others.

Sabian currently sits on the youth panel for London2012 Olympic Games, advising the Diversity Board on how they can make the Olympic Games a legacy for young people.

Along the way, he has worked with and met various celebrities and influential people such as, Tim Campbell, Larry Lamb, Boris Johnson, Ken Livingstone, Sarah Brown, Tulisa Constostavlos, Alistair Darling, the Childrens Commissioner, The Apprentice contestants and more.

Sabian recently received the Future100 Young Social Entrepeneur award for his work on the Why Do campaign.

Always smiling, Sabian is known for his welcoming, energetic and enthusiastic approach to his work. A lover of sports, with football and kick boxing among his favourites, Sabian is always active in some way. He is always up for a joke and is extremely social, finding something to add to the conversations going on around him.
