Rob Dembitz

Rob Dembitz is the Global Head of Innovation at Cannes Lions and sits on the executive team. Rob began his career at M&C Saatchi in their new media team, eMCSaatchi, before taking a different path into financial services. After studying for an MBA at London Business School, he joined GI Partners, a private equity firm and then moved to join the Terra Firma restructuring team at EMI. Rob has led the development and launch of Lions Health, Lions Innovation and Lions Entertainment. He has overall responsibility for Lions Innovation and works across the business to integrate the world of tech, from start-ups to major tech companies, into the business.

He sits on the Executive Team and is responsible for the strategic growth of the business. Rob has most recently led the development and launch of both Lions Health and also Lions Innovation, for which he is also acting as Festival Director. Lions Festival’s flagship event is the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, which takes place every year in June and is the world's leading celebration of creativity in communications. The company also runs Lions Health, Lions Innovation, Eurobest, Dubai Lynx, Spikes Asia, and the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival.
