Rachel Miner

Born and raised in Manhattan, Rachel has been acting professionally since she was nine. She played the young Mia Farrow in Woody Allen's "Alice," then spent nearly five years as Michelle Bauer on "Guiding Light," winning numerous awards and a Daytime Emmy nomination. In Shining Time Station's holiday special "Tis a Gift" she played a little girl looking for Santa opposite Lloyd Bridges as (unknown to her) Santa.

While attending Professional Children's School, she became engaged to fellow classmate, Macaulay Culkin. During the Broadway run of "The Diary of Anne Frank" (in which she played Margot) the two were quietly married. Both were still 17. Two years later, they separated and were subsequently divorced.

Careerwise, small parts in movies and a guest spot on "Sex and the City" (as Carrie Bradshaw's groupie) led to her first starring film role as the teenage "Lady Macbeth," Lisa Connelly in Larry Clark's "Bully" (for which she won the Stockholm Film Festival's Best Actress Award). In the theatre, she originated the starring role of Sandy in Rebecca Gilman's "Blue Surge," playing it both at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and The Public Theatre in New York (to excellent reviews).

She appeared in the 2007 television series "Californication," as Dani California, a reference to a character appearing in several songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

In 2008, she appeared in "The Sacrifice," an episode of "Fear Itself."

In 2009, she appeared in "Sympathy for the Devil," the fifth season premiere of "Supernatural," as Meg Masters' demon and in the same season's tenth episode, "Abandon All Hope." She reprised the role in season six's "Caged Heat," also the tenth episode of that season, and season seven's "The Born-Again Identity," with further appearances in "Reading is Fundamental" and the season finale "Survival of the Fittest."

Rachel seems equally comfortable on stage or on film, as well as in New York or Hollywood or "on the road."
