Laurence Prusak

Larry Prusak is a leading researcher, author, and consultant in the field of knowledge. He is the former Executive Director of the Institute for Knowledge-Based Organizations, a global consortium of member organizations engaged in advancing the practice of knowledge management through action research. Previously, he was a Managing Principal with IBM Global Services.  Larry has had extensive experience working with U.S. and international organizations and overseas government agencies on how to leverage and optimize their information and knowledge resources.

A noted authority in his field, Larry has lectured and published widely. His most recent book (co-authored with Tom Davenport) is What’s the Big Idea  (Harvard Business School Press, 2003). He has also recently edited a volume with Eric Lesser, Creating Value with Knowledge (Oxford University Press, 2003).
