Ingebjørg Hvidsten Biography
I started out as a jurist, with a Master’s Programme as well as a LLM in Competition Law. However, my desire for new challenges and adventures brought me to McKinsey & Company, where I worked as a Management Consultant for three years. During that period I worked around the world, experiencing and learning the value in a worldwide network. Not only is cooperation across borders necessary in the increasingly globalized context we live in, but it also offers inspiration and learning, exciting opportunities and friendship. In Global Shapers, we have a great chance to build a global community of contacts, partners and friends. When around, do not hesitate to contact our Oslo hub for a meeting or a coffee.
For a year now I have been working for T.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit's Foundation. The Foundation supports children and adolescents, by supporting local projects improving their respective communities. Especially now, there is a strong emphasis on empowering youth. In my opinion, it is essential to identify and foster the natural talents and resources in each individual, and provide them with required tools to leverage these skills. Along this line, the Oslo Shapers will jointly work to engage youth in our local community. Experiences and ideas are most welcome!
