Heather Champ built her first homepage in 1994 and has had the great fortune to work online in a variety of roles ever since.
Enamored with photography, she created the Mirror Project (1999 - 2005), an early website that celebrated self-portraiture, and co-founded JPG Magazine, the photography magazine made by its community with her husband, Derek Powazek.
She led the community team at Flickr from 2005 to 2010. After leaving Flickr, the couple founded Fertile Medium, an online community consultancy and worked with companies like Tumblr, Etsy, HP, Snapfish and Lytro. In September 2011 she joined Findery, a startup that makes places come alive.
Champ never leaves home without a camera or three.
