Francesco Perrini

Born in 1965. Professor of Management and CSR at the Giorgio Pivato Management Department of BocconiUniversity, Milan, Italy. He is also Senior Professor of Corporate Finance at the SDA Bocconi School of Management. Since 1990 he has been a researcher at Bocconi, focusing on Strategic and Innovation Management: Management of Corporate Development Processes (strategy implementation, acquisitions management; financial strategies and valuation; SMEs) and Social Issues in Management (Corporate Governance, Sustainability, Social Responsibility, CSR, SRI, Sustainable Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship). Prof. Perrini is director of CSR group at SDA Bocconi; member of: the Advisory Board of the SPACE Bocconi, Research Centre for Studies on Security and Protection against Crime and Emergencies; member of the Board of Directors and Scientific Director of the Italian Centre for Social Responsibility (I-CSR), Milan; member of the Management Board of Finetica, a Research Centre on SRI, partnership between Bocconi and Pontificia Unversitas Lateranensis, Vatican, Rome; External Collaborator of the Multinational Enterprises Program at International Labour Organization (ILO), Ginevra. He holds Postgraduate Degrees in Protection Management and Financial Management, Laurea Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi, PIM form ESADE and ITP from NYU. He spent the academic year, 2004-05, at the Business Ethics and Legal Studies Department, WhartonSchool, University of Pennsylvania, as a visiting professor. He is in Academic Board of EABIS and in the Membership Committee of SIM Division at the Academy of Management.
