Danielle Bisutti

Danielle Bisutti is a BAFTA Award-nominated actress, singer-songwriter, writer, producer, and director of Italian descent.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Danielle Bisutti received her Bachelor of Arts at California State University at Fullerton, with extended voice training and singing lessons at U.C. Irvine. She continued her studies with Eric Kline at Film Actor's Workshop, Larry Moss, Lesly Kahn and Shari Shaw Studios. She studied producing, directing, and screenwriting at The Hollywood Film Institute with Dov Simens, ScreenwritingU and Screenwriter University at The Writer's Store.

Bisutti began her professional career in 2000, when she made an appearance in the pilot episode of "Strip Mall." In 2001, she appeared on "Dharma and Greg.: She then appeared in episodes of "Charmed" in 2003. In the same year, she appeared in the episode "High Maintenance" from the series Less Than Perfect.

She has guest starred in series such as "The O.C," "Cold Case," "Two and a Half Men," and "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment." Within the last few years, she has also been seen on episodes of "Parks and Recreation," "Boston Legal," "Shark," "Wizards of Waverly Place," "Bones" and was recurring as Teri Long on "Without a Trace."

In 2008 and 2009, she appeared as Emma Troutman on three episodes of "Raising the Bar." She was a series regular in the role of Amanda Cantwell on the children's television show "True Jackson, VP" that ran for 3 seasons.

Bisutti spends time as a songwriter. Songs originally written by her such as "Venice Underground", "April Moon", and "In the Presence of" have been used in many independent feature films.

At the 2003 Los Angeles Music Awards, she won the award for "Best Female Singer-Songwriter". Her song "Glimmer" was nominated for "AAA Album of the Year" and her song, "In Passing" received Unanimous Choice Recipient Award for "Independent AC Single of the Year".

In September 2004, Bisutti performed at the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival, where "In Passing" was selected for the TVIFF's "Top Musical Artist Compilation CD" and Music Connection Magazine featured Bisutti in its 2004 "Hot 100 Unsigned Artists" list.
