Danny was shot 4 times in the face while working the front lobby of his substation. Left on the station floor for dead, he was told by his doctors he would never walk, talk, drive or work. Danny refused to allow the doctors prognosis become his reality. Faced with the doctors prognosis, Danny had to fight or flight. Now Danny not only does all the things they said he would never do,Danny is also an open water certified scuba diver, a licensed captain by the U.S. Coast Guard and now charters his yacht. Most of Danny's pride is in his companies, Houston Rehab Management Co. and D.B. Vaughan. Danny has gone on to become an accredited real estate investor
