As a model, McCord appeared on numerous magazine covers, in the Victoria's Secret catalog, and on runways for countless world-renowned designers. While traveling the world she cultivated an obsession with learning about local cuisines.
Catherine segued from modeling to television and film, before deciding to pursue her lifelong dream and attend school at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. After her son, Kenya, was born she created weelicious.com to help parents like herself cook seasonal recipes that were kid friendly, fast, simple and nutritious. In this capacity, she has appeared on the syndicated television show The Doctors and is a regular contributor to People.com, Baby Center, Lilsugar.com, Momlogic, and Goodbite.com.
