Brian Fiske Biography
Brian Fiske is the vice president of research programs at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. He joined the foundation in 2004, following his post as an editor for the prestigious scientific journal, Nature Neuroscience, where he helped evaluate and review cutting-edge scientific research findings submitted by top scientists in the field (including many papers on Parkinson's disease). Through his work at the journal, Fiske amassed a broad understanding of the neuroscience field and now brings this knowledge to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Prior to Nature and Neuroscience, Fiske worked in the laboratory of Lloyd Greene at Columbia University as a postdoctoral fellow, where he looked for genes that were preferentially expressed in response to neuronal activity.
