Paul Noglows Biography

Paul has spent his entire career focused on identifying, analyzing, explaining, investing in and helping build ground-breaking business models whether as a journalist, award-winning equity analyst, director of research, angel investor or teacher.

Now a producer, Paul conceives and creates high-profile live content events that identify and define new communities of interest and showcase the wealth of talent and innovation blossoming within them. His experience allows him to work seamlessly with Editors and other Content Creators to creatively and profitably explore their visions, build their brands and create lasting and profitable Live Content franchises. Paul created and is currently spearheading the Forbes AgTech Summit, which launched in July 2015 and will return to Salinas, CA in July 2016. The AgTech Summit was the culmination of Paul’s stewardship of the Forbes Reinventing America Project – the single most significant effort mounted by any major US media company to bolster the economic development of America's heartland.

As a pioneering Internet analyst at San Francisco-based investment banking boutique Hambrecht & Quist in the late 1990’s, Paul’s was a leading voice helping to explain, define and fund Internet 1.0. For his work, Paul was recognized as "Best on the Street" in both Entertainment and Internet by First Call/The Wall Street Journal.

He was Variety’s first dedicated Wall Street reporter in the early ‘90s and later became the founding Business Editor and a key part of the team that launched Inter@ctive Week, the Internet’s first trade publication. Throughout his career, Paul has been deeply involved in academics and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at both New York University's Stern School of Business and in the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism program at CUNY.

Paul graduated from New York University with a Masters in Journalism and from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Economics.
