Joining thousands of walkers and supporters of the local organization, this is the first time the company has participated in the Heart Walk through the AAE Cares program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team AAE Speakers raised $4,462.36 for this year\u2019s Heart Walk, contributing to the more than $1.8M raised in the Triangle area this year for this event. All money raised locally goes directly back into the community for life-saving community education efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn a community like ours, we see a lot of metrics about growth and economic impacts,\u201d said Jasmine Carter, co-chair of AAE Cares. \u201cTo me, the difference between a community and just a place to live is people being willing to do something selfless for the people around them. I\u2019m glad we could play a small part in supporting the Triangle community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AAE Cares is the company\u2019s charitable and employee-driven program that has supported programs including the Eastern &amp; Central North Carolina Food Bank, the Durham Children\u2019s Initiative, WakeEd Partnership&#8217;s Tools4Schools, and Animal Protection Services in Durham.<br><br>The AAE Cares program will next host The Blood Connection for their 2nd annual blood drive on October 31st in Durham at the company\u2019s offices.
