All American Entertainment\u2019s Transformation Featured in New \u201cDisruption & Adaptation\u201d Module<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 22, 2021 [DURHAM, NC]<\/strong> – All American Entertainment (AAE) has been featured in Professional Convention Management Association\u2019s (PCMA)<\/a> latest course series titled \u201c7 Change Actions.\u201d The module, titled \u201cDisruption & Adaptation,\u201d features AAE\u2019s success story of business recovery during the event industry downturn in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this case study, PCMA showcases the efforts of All American Entertainment\u2019s Chief Operating Officer, Margo Dunnigan, to launch a cross-team effort that ultimately shifted and expanded the company\u2019s product offering from in-person speakers to include speakers for both virtual and hybrid events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AAE specializes in booking keynote speakers and entertainment for the event industry, which was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite a challenging start in early 2020, the team shifted the historic annual percentage of virtual event bookings from 1% to 77% for the year. As part of the transition to supporting virtual and hybrid events, several of AAE\u2019s agents also completed PCMA\u2019s Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery department here at AAE was significantly involved in the virtual event transition in 2020,\u201d said Dunnigan of the effort. \u201cWe had to enhance technology, adjust our processes and contracts, shift our marketing and sales approaches, and be prepared to handle virtual event logistics at scale for our clients. The team rallied behind the mission at a time when our business was down 90% and there was a lot of general uncertainty, both personally and within the events industry. I am honored that PCMA chose to showcase our story as part of their module on \u2018Disruption & Adaptation\u2019 and could not be more proud of the entire team for their effort towards this accomplishment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
