#Brexit took a lot of people by surprise. We had been assured many times by polls, charts, politicians, reporters, and locals that there was slim to no chance that Britain would actually leave the European Union. To be honest, a lot of people didn’t even know there was a vote happening in the first place.
For many people, it felt like we woke up one morning this summer and overnight the world had been set on fire, our 401k’s were down, and for holders of the US dollar it was looking like it might finally be a good time to take a trip to London. So we were definitely caught off guard.
On the surface we know what happened. Britain had a referendum and voted to leave the EU. But a lot of us were still left with a lot of questions: Does Brexit actually change anything for me (and for you) going forward? What impact does Brexit have on our global economy? How does Brexit affect the overall state and standing of the EU? What’s next for poor Scotland? Who put the Crying Jordan Meme on Queen Elizabeth?
and so on…
Here is a list of speakers and experts who can explain what Brexit means moving forward.
