Chicago Techweek 2017

TechWeek Chicago 2017 will run from June 19-23, across several locations in downtown Chicago. According to the Techweek website, Techweek is a purpose-built conference and media company in 8 cities, with week-long conferences throughout the year. Techweek partners with tech leaders, corporations, and the community to build a unique experience for investors, entrepreneurs, and Hero Companies. Techweek’s mission is to spread wealth creation to diverse places and people by supporting the emergence of local Hero Companies.

Amanda Lannert is the Chief Executive Officer of The Jellyvision Lab and has been a key figure in driving the company since its founding in 2001. CEO & Founder, NodeSource

Mr. Joe McCann is a Co-Founder of NodeSource, Inc. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McCann is a hacker, tinkerer, builder and breaker with more than 13 years of web, mobile and software development experience. Joe’s experience in various industries is widespread: from music and live events, to fashion, to Wall Street and even real estate, the perspective he brings to the mobile, design and the software engineering industries is extremely rare and unique.

5John Higginson
CTO, Enova

John joined Enova as Chief Technology Officer in 2014. He has also worked as the CTO of Wheels, Inc., and at FTD Companies, Inc., and Applied Systems, Inc. John holds a BA from Northern Illinois University and an MS in Information Technology and Privacy Law from the John Marshall Law School. Outside of work, he serves as an MBA Executive Advisory Board member at Lewis University. John lives in Chicago with his two labradors and his large collection of electronic gadgets that “were so cool he just had to have them.”
