Detailed Biography of Wendy Mannering
|
She brings practical knowledge and experience to her programs with twenty-nine years of experience as an educator, coach, marketing director, and professional speaker. She co-authored the book, Attitudes Are Contagious. Are Yours Worth Catching? with her husband, Dennis. To date, the book has sold over 90,000 copies and is published in Great Britain, Russia, and Greece.
Wendy has worked with a variety of businesses and organizations including advertising groups, financial groups, healthcare organizations, and educational groups. Her seminars are designed so there is a balance between content shared and participative opportunities. She will work with you to customize her program to address your challenges. Her keynotes are laced with humor and filled with inspiring stories and motivational content.
An active volunteer in her community, Wendy serves in leadership positions in her church, on the Good Government Council for the Chamber of Commerce, and, in the past, on the board for Habitat for Humanity. She serves in the planning and producing of her community's Holiday Parade, which attracts fifty thousand people to the downtown area.

Using a behavioral tendency survey, Wendy provides a thoughtful, humorous, yet informative, seminar regarding the importance of recognizing and appreciating the differences in those with whom we work and live. Improving relationships both professionally and personally is her goal.
How To Handle Stress Without Being Stressed Out (1-2 hrs)
A one-to-three hour seminar created to equip participants with skills to cope with the stress in their lives. Lively and humorous. Longer programs allow for more small group interaction.
Do They Know They're On Your Team?
A presentation designed to help participants become more productive, positive members of their team, whether at work, in volunteer groups or in families. Wendy customizes for each group.
Building Your Business Through Improved Phone Skills (3 hrs.)
A seminar designed to teach phone skills that will strengthen positive first impressions of your organization and/or enhance phone sales skills to build your business. Also included is a strong component on dealing with irate customers over the phone.
