Vicki Payne has taught more people to work with glass than any other person in the world. Each week, for over 15 years, thousands of glass enthusiasts have tuned in to watch her popular national television show, Glass with Vicki Payne . The show is available on PBS, Good Life TV, and FamilyNet cable stations. "You make it look so easy!" is always the reaction that host Vicki Payne gets from her viewers. This informative and entertaining program takes the mystery out of working with art glass. Vicki's step-by-step demonstrations of the many processes involved in glass work are helpful to hobbyists at all levels of experience and engrossing to viewers who are simply curious about this fascinating medium.
Each show explores a new and exciting glass project. From traditional stained glass techniques to hot glass fusion, you will enjoy watching this international recognized artist create beautiful objects from glass.
Vicki is a frequent and popular guest on a number of HGTV and The Discovery Channel programs as well as various other home improvement and crafting shows. She and Sloan currently host the Handmade Gifts show on the DIY Network. She has also been a frequent guest on QVC, where she markets her own brand of glass related crafting products manufactured and distributed by Plaid Enterprises.
In addition to her work in television, Vicki is an accomplished writer, speaker, and educator. She has authored and published many glass crafting books and has just completed a new hardback book with Sterling Publications. Vicki is an admired and motivating speaker, encouraging her audiences with her "you- can-do-it" attitude. Vicki created and directs her own annual consumer glass show, the Glass Extravaganza.
