Prior to this appointment, Surtees was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo!'s Commerce group, at their Santa Clara, USA headquarters. His reputation as a leading authority on eCommerce is well-earned. Best-selling author and entrepreneur Seth Godin, author of 'Permission Marketing', described him as "one of the most brilliant marketers on the scene today."

In 2000, Tony was appointed CEO of a Hong Kong based international wireless and mCommerce company with operations in China and the United States, emaimai, Inc. During that time he engaged the services of DLA to assist with the management and systems design in that company.

In addition to his tenure at Yahoo!, Surtees spent four years designing, developing and funding an eCommerce application for online bill presentment. Prior to that, he founded ITN Telecommunications, a B2B telecommunications organisation that specialised as a fax provider in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

A critically acclaimed author, Surtees is a frequent key speaker at industry seminars around the globe. David and Tony will expand the IT consulting services offered by DLA and will provide strategic IT advice to major corporations throughout South East Asia.
