At the age of 36, she was pulled from her corporate life in design, marketing and sales, and thrown into the foreign world of cancer survival. At the age of 38, determined to alter her lifestyle, she chose to throw herself into another totally unknown and risky world - high-altitude mountaineering. That year, she found herself on the top of the most isolated mountain in the world, Antarctica's Vinson Massif!
