Thom Filicia
Thom Filicia stars as the interior design specialist on Bravo's Emmy award winning show, "Queer Eye for The Straight Guy".
This role has led to his Emmy nomination for Outstanding Art Direction for a Variety or Music Program.
Prior to this show, Thom gained recognition as a major presence in the design industry. In 1999, he established his own interior design company in New York City. Thom Filicia, Inc specializes in residential and commercial products, catering to a range of high-profile clients in the fashion, entertainment, media, real estate, and finance industries.
Most recently the company designed the United States pavilion for the 2005 World's Fair in Aichi, Japan. Currently, Thom is designing the windows for the luxe New York auction house, Christie's, and has also partnered with the Xerox corporation and Entrpreneur magazine to judge and execute design elements for a National Office Makeover Contest for the second year in a row.
Thom's designs have been featured among a lengthy list of publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, W, Teen Vogue, The Face, City, Entertainment Weekly, New York Magazine, Details, Out, US Weekly, Cargo, Women's Wear Daily, People, The Advocate, The New York Post, In Touch, Interior Design, Hamptons, and House & Garden.
In addition, the Queer Eye Book: The Fab Five's Guide to Looking Better, Dressing Better, Behaving Better, & Living Better also benefited from Thom's input.
Along with magazine publications, Thom has also appeared ias a guest on:: The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen Degeneres Show, The View, The Jane Pauley Show, The Tony Danza Show, The Today Show, MTV's 2003 Video Music Awards, Access Hollywood, Anderson Cooper 360, CNNfn, MSNBC's Squawk Box, NBC's comedy Good Morning Miami, E! News Daily, Barbara Walters presents: The Top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2003, VH1's Big in 2004, and South Park.
Pier 1 Imports and American Express also featured Thom in their national television campaigns.
