|
From the red carpet, Casablanca hosts E! Online's popular live Web casts, including world premieres. He also contributes profiles on Hollywood's most exclusive celebrities, some of who have included Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris O'Donnell, Sean William Scott, Larry Flynt, Natalie Cole and Antonio Sabato Jr. He has also hosted chats with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillipe, Reese Witherspoon and Christian Bale, among others.
Prior to joining E! Online, Casablanca spent nine years at Premiere, the monthly film magazine, where he conceived Ted Casablanca's The Awful Truth. At Premiere, Casablanca's celebrity coverage also included features and stories on Jim Carrey, Val Kilmer, Robin Williams, Sophia Loren, Madonna and Elizabeth Taylor. Before Premiere, Casablanca worked for Rolling Stone and Esquire magazines.
Casablanca also served as E! Online's gossip correspondent on E! Entertainment Television's The Gossip Show along with Liz Smith, Army Archerd, Marilyn Beck and others. He is also a regular contributor to E! Entertainment Television's flagship series The E! True Hollywood Story and numerous E! Specials. Casablanca has appeared as an interview subject on numerous TV shows and networks, including ABC's The View, Extra, CNN's CNN.com, CourtTV's Hollywood & Crime, Roseanne, Fox & Friends, as well as numerous international appearances for the BBC and Australian television programs. He is also a frequent guest on several popular radio stations throughout the nation. Ted Casablanca participated on the WB show, Grosse Pointe, as himself.
