Sheila Bridges is one of the country's most sought after interior designers. CNN and Time Magazine named her "America's Best Interior Designer." Sheila is a regular contributor to The Today Show, has appeared on Oprah and has been profiled in numerous publications including Time, New York Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, O The Oprah Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Vanity Fair, Gotham, Essence, Harper's Bazaar, House & Garden, Town & Country, and Black Enterprise. She is also the author of Furnishing Forward: A Practical Guide to Furnishing for a Lifetime.
Classic, simple and elegant, Sheila's work is a favorite among prominent personalities. She is the CEO and Chairperson of Sheila Bridges Design Inc., a successful high-visibility design firm. One of her primary motivations is to introduce a new generation of clients to the value of good design and the importance of interior environments that reflect one's own personal style.
Along with running a successful interior design business, Sheila hosts the flagship program for the FINE LIVING Network, one of America's fastest- growing networks and part of the Scripps Howard cable family. Sheila Bridges: Designer Living had its debut on January 28, 2003 and is now in its fourth successful season. The sleekly produced half-hour weekly series showcases Sheila's practical wisdom and hands-on advice. Sheila's show has become a trusted resource to help viewers define and exercise their own personal style.
Originally from Philadelphia, Sheila holds degrees from both Brown University and Parsons School of Design. She also studied decorative arts at Polimoda in Florence, Italy. She lives and works in New York City and relaxes at her weekend home in New York's Hudson Valley.
