Sean Kelly is a professional stand up comedian and charity auctioneer.
The ones who can work clean are in great demand and often hard to find. I formed thecleancomedian.com as a way to unite organizations with the few really talented clean, clever comedians that are out there working today. Since I have personally worked with every comedian we book, I am confident in placing the right comedian into the right situation.
Our comedians’ credits and experience varies greatly. We have comedians that have television credits; we have comedians that are seasoned road comics, comedians that have won comedy competitions as well as undiscovered hilarious comedians that have credits working for some of the largest charitable organizations and corporations in the world.

A couple of our comedians also have been working as professional charity auctioneers. This additional talent comes in really handy, as normally the live auction portion is conducted by separate auctioneer and separate budget. Our auctioneers have had extensive training in sales, comedy and crowd work and fully understand that the live auction portion of an event is about raising money first and laughs second, however, it sure is nice to have an auctioneer that can make an audience laugh as they are being polity prodded for more money. Recently one of our auctioneers raised $47,000 from one auction item that was expected to raise $15,000 at the very most. That auctioneer was me, Sean Kelly and the auction was for Junior Achievement.
Some of our comedians have special skills, such as emcee and master of ceremonies or the gift of being able to work with the audience and really be in the moment. Some of our comedians specialize in faith-based organizations and are often requested to come back again and again. Some of our comedians have had specials on comedy central, HBO and appear regularly in Las Vegas.
