He created the Intellectual Capital for Demand StrategySM, the growth business model used by many of America's fastest growing companies. He has been a team member of innovation projects that developed new products and services that had sales of more than $10 billion in 2002.

Author of the book, THE NEW LAW OF DEMAND AND SUPPLY: The Revolutionary New Demand Strategy for Faster Growth and Higher Profits (Currency/Doubleday; September 2002). The book has been selected by Amazon.com as one of the ten best business books of 2002. Rick's speech was graded 9.5 by Young President's Organization "the speech was too short"

Rick is co-founder of Cambridge Capital Private Equity a new business model for private equity in the 21st Century. He also co-founded Spectra Marketing Systems. Spectra Marketing Systems, a 600-person company, predicts demand for every SKU in every individual supermarket and drugstore in the United States by utilizing a micro-marketing supermarket and mass merchandiser information system used by more than 90% of Packaged Goods and Beverage marketers.

Rick is a member of the United States Senate Business Forum, a group of 36 businesspeople selected by U.S. Senators. The group meets with Senators and Cabinet members on a quarterly basis to provide independent views on National matters effecting the economy and U.S. business performance.

Rick is a former social worker with delinquent gangs in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Rick is co-founder of the Faith Price Kash Foundation, which funded Fusion Cell Therapy at Harvard University, referred to as "possibly the most exciting new platform in cancer treatment since chemotherapy 53 years ago."

Rick serves on a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards, and speaks to corporations and associations around the world on the subject of the Demand Economy and corporate growth. He is a native of Chicago, is a graduate of DePaul University, and works from The Cambridge Group offices in Chicago and New York.
