A native of Alabama, Pat Simpson has been building and designing for nearly 20 years. He grew up in and around the business, working with his father and friends who were builders, erecting boathouses, docks, lake homes and other structures. In addition to hosting Before & After, Fix It Up! and Room to Improve, on HGTV, Pat contributes articles to a variety of consumer and trade publications. He also participates in media tours, home shows and home center grand openings, and serves as a spokesperson for various national manufacturers.
